I am Alexander Caden and I have been drumming for 6 years. I am studying at BIMM Birmingham and I am in my second year of my extended diploma in performance. I play many different genres of music, with my favourite’s being: rock, Indie, indie rock and funk. I aim to continue working with my bands; however, I am open to session work. in the past I have played at the venue under the bridge in London due to session work and I have also worked with the up-and-coming band Bohmen.
I play in multiple bands including, The Adrenaline Rush, a band I formed at the start of my drumming career, we have played many venues and had bookings for many festivals and gigs in Birmingham for 2020 including places like The Sunflower Lounge. Unfortunately, these were cancelled until further notice due to Covid 19. we have released 3 singles and hope to release more.
I also play with a band called Withoutwarningx, I have been playing with them for 2 years and we are an indie pop band with 5 members. we have released 3 singles and are working to release more. we have performed at places like, the o2 academy 3 in Birmingham supporting Francis and the Fiend, farmer Phil’s festival in Shropshire and Party in the Park. we have also played many gigs in and around Shrewsbury including Alberts shed and the old post office. I am also working with an artist called Greysha where we have been working on getting ready for gigs and more…
WHY DO YOU PLAY COLLISION?
I play 5A drum sticks, I also like to play the 5A Reach sticks.
One of my favourite things about the brand is the great products they make. I have never had sticks last so long and also have sticks that continue to feel great after extensive use. I also love the general feeling of being a part of a community when working with Collision; they care for their artists much more than other brands in my opinion. I would recommend the sticks due to their great feel and durability.
