Austin Weaver developed a love for playing the drums at a very young age. In sixth grade he co-founded his first band, Close to Consideration, with a group of schoolmates. Over the course of 13 years, Close to Consideration was sharing stages with legendary artists like Reel Big Fish, The Misfits, The Expendables, Sublime With Rome, Afroman, and more. In 2018, Austin joined forces with Korey Musser to cofound punk-rock n’ roll band: Blind Accuracy. The band embarked on a local journey , captivating audiences with their dynamic sound. Blind Accuracy released their self-recorded debut album, “Lucky Shot,” in November 2022. Blind Accuracy’s current lineup: Austin Weaver on Drums and Vocals, Korey Musser on Lead Vocals and Guitar, Justin Levenduskey on Lead Guitar and Vocals, and Pete Romeo on Bass Guitar. The band’s trajectory continued to rise as they supported acclaimed acts like MEST, The Queers, The Dead Boys, and The Slackers. Currently, Blind Accuracy is immersed in the creation of their anticipated second, self-recorded album (Album’s name and release date still TBD). The band’s musical journey remains vibrant, as they captivate audiences both local and beyond. Austin’s musical pursuits extend beyond Blind Accuracy. The Warped Band, a tribute act commemorating bands from The Vans Warped Tour, indie-rock group The After Hours, and pop-punk band HANDGUNS, to name a few. Austin remains open to collaborations as a fill-in/part-time/session drummer for fellow musicians across Central Pennsylvania. His commitment to his work craft, boundless energy, and undeniable love for drums continue to drive Austin Weaver’s musical journey.
