Byron has also had the pleasure of playing for Tom Biscardi’s Motown Show at The Showboat Casino, featuring classic acts such as The Platters, The Chi-Lites, The Coasters, and The Drifters to name a few. Byron played drums for The Greater Commission ID Church established by Bishop Sylvester Hooks in Las Vegas, NV for 9 years. Currently, Byron is playing keys for Shekinah Glory Ministries under Pastor Nicholas Simpson, Sr. Byron is the owner of Blaq Mic Productions Studio, a recording studio where he provides services for independent artists and musicians. Along with producing music Byron enjoys teaching how to make music or understand the concept of how it works. This way artists can see the amount of work that is involved in the production of music. Byron started the studio for himself, to do what he wanted but he realized there was a need in his community. Byron’s goal is to teach children that have an interest in expressing themselves through music and allow them to have an outlet.
