band: Hungry Mother / Session Drummer
STICK SIZE: 5A
I’ve been a musician all my life, starting with guitar at the age of 6. I always wanted a drum kit growing up but didn’t get one until I was sixteen. I would practice with pencils on stools around the house, and build drum kits out of pots and pans. I have always had a love for drums and found that it is my true passion.
I started taking lessons about five years back and joined my first band as a drummer two years ago. Hungry Mother went on our first tour last fall and played east coast shows up into Toronto, Canada. We recorded our first album “The Big Sad”, which was released in November 2019. I also work with other artists in the Nashville area for studio sessions, and I am excited for where these new projects will take me. I have also recently started a YouTube channel where I do covers and jam on drum less tracks. Playing drums brings me so much joy, and I couldn’t imagine life without it.
WHY DO YOU PLAY COLLISION?
I play 5A’s for the versatility.
My favorite thing about the collision brand is the sense of community and support for artists of all levels. If you want the most durable pair of drumsticks you will ever play i recommend collision.
