I have been into drums for well over 30 yrs. I started off in a local marching field and drum core. Shortly after that, I got my hands on an old beat up slingerland drum kit from my father’s band the Johnny Walker blues band. From that point, I knew that was what I wanted to be. At 13 I put a few people together just to play and have fun with music and it became an addiction. Went some time and got married then moved to Southwest, FL, Naples area. The music scene there was out of this world. Started a band called Seven Stories and a few years later we became a top tier band in the area, opening for various national acts such as members from Godsmack, Twisted Method, Metallica, etc. Fast forward to current, I play for Midlife Crisis, a 90’s rock tribute band. I’ve been with these guys for 4 yrs now and still going strong. Alot more to come but don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Thank you!

I get comments all the time on my timing. I’m a human click track I’m told. Well only cause I don’t play without one. My fellow band mate Ken Kirkland told me a click is a tool not a crutch. Ever since then the timing is what I say it is..lol
