ARTIST PROFILE
David Walters was inspired to play drums by his older brother and taught the ways of being in a band by his father, a guitarist/singer. David cut his teeth in local rock, punk, and pop bands while diving into the world of jazz and EDM. He later moved to Dallas where he has played with many local and signed artists, such as Lance Lopez, Zayra Alvarez, and Novadoll. He was also a founding member of one of Dallas’ premier show bands and now he is currently going full throttle with Southern Brave.
David loves sharing his knowledge and has taken time away from playing to direct music camps for teens. Inspiring musicians goes hand in hand with being a musician. He’s inspired by his beautiful family and vast amounts of great music that’s been created. David’s goal is to help create memorable experiences for audiences and fellow musicians.
