Hi, my name is Donnell Perry. I am a drummer based out of NC. My passion and the love of drums came along at the age of 2 years old. Now I’m 31 years of age! So yea I’ve been playing for 29 years and many more to come if the lords willing.

A little bit about myself! As I stated before, I started playing drums at 2 years old. Beating on my moms pots and pans, I further pushed to learn more about my craft as a drummer. I did just so! I finally joined band in middle school. I then started playing for church where I learned the gospel genre. I actually grew up on it.

I continued to play and play until one day I started getting calls for small venues, which I took them. As the time went on I found myself getting noticed and starting meeting all kinds of great musicians and having the opportunity to play along with a few. Now today I can say I’ve played at a few bars, 1 venue at the Leonor county fair and the rest have been church venues. Well guys this is a little bit of my story on how it all started!!
