Hi everyone! My name is Dezy Santiago and I have been drumming for a little over 15 years. I was born in New Jersey but raised as a Florida boy. I am a certified sound engineer and love to mix, produce, and write for other artists. I started our band, Modern Natives, in 2009 and it has been a fantastic experience full of learning and adventure.

 

Our band is currently a 4 piece. Savannah is our lead vocalist with a background in fisheries ecology. She has recently accepted an endorsement with Eargasm. Nick is our bassist and other vocalist with a background in music and educational tutoring. Austin is our newest member and guitarist (previously the guitarist for Black Tide). We have been working extremely hard to train him on our 4 hour set over the last 2 weeks. Modern Natives is about to start its second tour which will take us from the US midwest, north into Canada, and back to Alaska where we’ll perform throughout the summer.

 

Recently, we were awarded “Best Import” for a show we performed in Port Huron, MI. Our venue history can be found on our EPK. We do our best to support all bands we perform and interact with to the fullest. In regards to additional endorsements and sponsorships, we are always looking for partnered and advertisement opportunities.
