I started taking drum lessons at the age of 8 up til about 16yrs old. Old school drum lessons starting out with just a snare drum and some books. I joined my first band when I was 18 years old, a Death metal band called “Crucified Corpse” and I’ve been playing in bands ever since, ranging from Death metal to even Bluegrass with a washboard. My current band is something special though. August 2022 I was asked to join Dutch Metal Legends Martyr, a band that started in the early 80s and these guys are the absolute top of Heavy Metal here in the Netherlands. Since I’ve joined this group of amazing musicians I have played multiple international gigs and festivals and played some memorable Headline and support shows nationally. I have been lucky enough to have shared the stage with bands like Asenblut, Mystic Prophecy, Hammer King, Manimal and Jagd Panzer and I’m sure more fantastic bands and shows will follow.
