My name’s Flavio, I’m 34 and I’ve been playing drums since I was 20. I’m a self taught so I haven’t had any drum lessons and I play by ear. I started by watching video tutorials on youtube on how to hold drum sticks and how to tune the drums and then I learned some rudiments to improve my technique and little by little I joined some bands to play with other people and do some gigs but constantly focusing on improve my drumming ability until I got able to play what I like the most: metal.

In the past years I have been in a pop band, then a prog rock band a metal band but we splitted up so currently I’m new in a metal band called Hellcowboys and we do some thrash and groove metal
