ARTIST PROFILE
Hey! My name is Gareth and I play drums for the pop-rock band ‘Last Seen Alive’. My playing style is energetic and hard hitting and I’m heavily influenced by rock/metal/punk music. I’ve been drumming for over half my life making every decision based around my passion for drums. I’ve gone through my school years only ever focusing on playing drums and gigging as much as humanly possible.
I took my talents to Brighton to study professional musicianship at the Brighton institute of modern music (BIMM). This is where I was recruited to play for Last Seen Alive. I joined LSA in 2017 and since then have gigged up and down the UK playing along side bands like ‘The Kaiser Chiefs’ and ‘Catfish & The Bottlemen’.
2020 has seen me being welcomed into the Collision family where I hope to share the love for the brand at plenty more shows and festivals.
WHY DO YOU PLAY COLLISION?
I play the 5AR sticks. These sticks are amazing, really enjoy playing with them. I find them to be very strong and well balanced sticks. My favourite bit about these sticks are they are longer than a normal 5A and it makes playing around the kit easier. Collision make awesome sticks and are a brilliant bunch of people, they are always there for you to help and make the most of your sticks.
