I am a 22 year old engineer and I have been playing the drums for over a decade. I am an independent artist and I have achieved grade 5 Trinity Rock and Pop, and I was about to pass my grade 6 before Covid. I have been creating videos showcasing my current abilities and passion as a method of building a social network, confidence and developing my technical skills further.

I have played at open mics at local establishments which consisted in playing with complete strangers and without any prior rehearsal time. This experience was entirely based on my experience and talent to improvise. Also, I performed at a charity event for cancer research at The Civic Hall in Grays. Later on that year, I played with a Band called Black Liquorice at Chinnerys in Southend which was a great opportunity to explore a different genre as the band was heavily influenced by punk rock.

Moreover, through my school, I participated in  competitions as a solo artist and  as a member of various bands, this involved playing different genres from pop, jazz, rock to reggae and R&B. I also got the opportunity to play in a samba band that paraded Maldon High Street. My aim is to get all the way to grade 8 to be able to contribute more knowledge and skill to future bands or artists.
