He toured with Dirty Brown Eye in the late 1990’s into the 2000’s opening for such bands as Overkill, Pro-Pain, Biohazard, E-Town Concrete, Dry Kill Logic (Hinge), Nuclear Assault, Anthrax, Prong, and The Misfits. He has played shows in the following venues: CBGB’s, Webster Hall, The Hard Rock Cafe, The Webster Theater in Hartford, the Limelight, The Pyramid Club, The Bank, The Blackthorn, and many others. The band broke up in 2004, but their music remains on Apple Music, Spotify and Amazon Music. Currently, Jim is playing locally in two original bands and a few cover bands. Playing In Traffic is a hard rock/metal act that recently played the Montauk Music Festival as one of the few metal acts at the event to very responsive crowds. They are completing their latest album, which will be released soon. Mad Handsome is a fun 80’s-90’s cover band that plays often to enthusiastic crowds. Mad Handsome will be playing Garcia’s at the prestigious Capital Theater in Port Chester this summer. Jim is also a Special Needs teacher/administrator as well as a drum instructor at the School of Rock in White Plains, New York. Jim continues to take drum lessons to keep growing as an artist. He currently works with Paul Bostaph (Slayer, Testament, Exodus, Forbidden) and Todd Sucherman (Styx). These legends have helped him to unlock his potential and further his drumming journey. He also just became an endorser of Soultone Cymbals.
