WHY DO YOU PLAY COLLISION?
I play the 5B, 5A and 7A size sticks for different musical situations. I like the feel and balance of the sticks and the way they rebound naturally off the drums and cymbals. The tip size and shape is great for pulling tone out of the drums, and I’ve yet to have one chip on me. The wood itself also seems very dense, which bodes well for longevity, and gives me confidence to hit as hard as I need to. I love the Collision Drumsticks brand and the family feel of the company and I look forward to growing together as part of the team.
PRESS
“Joe is the complete musician and teacher. As a performer and bandmate he is a great listener who channels his technical mastery of the drums in the most musical way.”
– Tom O’Grady, Resolution 88 // Vanessa Haynes // Incognito
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Joe on numerous projects and he brings great feel and musicianship to ANY style of music…HE’S A MONSTER!”
– Nathan Williams, Jamiroquai // solo
“Like rock and soul? Cambridge’s Sweet Crisis have both of them by the caseload, as shown in this organ-swirling, 70s classic rock-evoking new track (think Free, early Fleetwood Mac and Humble Pie having a pleasantly mellow knees-up and you’re on the right track). Summer encapsulated in just under four minutes”
