I’m currently playing the collision 5AR’s which have a great balance and seem to take a load of punishment without complaining much at all. I have played heavier coated sticks in the past and find that the 5AR’s do strike nice balance between speed and power, handy for those quicker segments mid way through a set. I also find that little extra reach helpful especially if you’re not on your own gear and can’t quote get stands positioned quite were you’d like. I’m stoked to have found a manufacture in the north east, it feels great to be supporting a local business and also finding one with such a solid product and a global reach. Every conversation I’ve had so far has been positive and easy going and there’s a great community feeling from the team and the artists involved with the brand. If you’re looking for an upgrade in quality, I’d recommend Collision.
