I was introduced to drums 20 years ago and it became my passion! It started with lessons from the great Mark Chiaramonte at RVP Studios giving me all the tools I needed for a successful drumming career. Once I got to high school, I joined the jazz band as well as the marching band led by the amazing Cassie Marcella, who taught me more of the intricate aspects of reading/playing music. Along the way I was heavily influenced by rock and metal music, especially Metallica.
Through the years, I’ve been able to jam with so many talented musicians of various genres and styles! Before 2017, I was involved in metalcore original projects that have played iconic stages like Toads Place and the Webster Underground. It was a creative, fun process being able to write our own material to share with those who also enjoy that genre. In 2017, I discovered the cover band scene and realized that there’s a fun factor combined with the opportunity to make good money!
Fast forward to the present day, I can say I’m lucky enough to be in two successful cover bands: Off The Hook, and Sunset Drive. Although both are cover bands of similar genres, they each bring their own vibe to the sets. I can honestly say I’m having the best time of my life sharing the stage with not only talented, like-minded musicians, but also great friends! Between both bands, we’ve played a wide range of venues all over CT whether it’s smaller venues like Trinity, The Stand, and Blackstone Irish Pub to name a few; as well as larger venues/festivals like Sunset Ribs, Woodbury Brewing Co, Durham Fair, and The Big E! There’s nothing better than having fun and making money doing something you love, and that thing for me is and always will be drumming!
WHY DO YOU PLAY COLLISION?
I play the collision 5B.
The community aspect of the collision brand is my favorite because they truly care about their artist’s careers and make it easy for us to interact with fellow drummers.
I highly recommend Collision drumsticks mainly for their extreme durability!
