My name is Jonathan Guevara, I’m a drummer from California and music is my life. I’ve been playing the drums for 23 years but became most active in the entertainment scene in 2007. Intrigued by creative beats, harmonious rhythm and getting crowds to move, I taught myself unique blends of patterns that create the distinctive music I play today. I embraced my creativity with other members of bands to play local shows at venues. In 2008 I recorded my first EP with a local band that consisted of some of my closest friends. From there we went on to expand to venues further out, private parties and the crowds got bigger as time went on supporting major acts like winds of plague and exhumed and local bands in the area. As the demand for good drummers became greater, so did my expansion in music. This journey allowed me to learn everything from jazz to death metal! In 2019, my life and music journey had me going from Northern California to Mexico and everywhere in between to play anything you could imagine. That’s when it happened, what every musician dreams of.. finding band mates, who’s creative design fit mine. This lead to an awesome future of sell out shows, crowds way larger than before and an endorsement given to me by Collison Drumsticks. We’ve set roots in the music scene and familiarized ourselves with the entertainment business. I can’t wait to see what’s next on my awesome journey.
