ARTIST PROFILE
I’m a drummer from Norwich, UK and have been playing and continuosly learning the craft for around 16 years now. I found my love for drums through witnessing a family friend playing live, the day I picked up a pair of sticks and hit that first skin was the day I knew this was the instrument for me.
Over the years I’ve been playing, I’ve dabbled with making a few drum covers and these have proven to be quite popular and landed me a spot in a ‘fresh from the ground’ metal band named ‘A Thousand Voices’. Since joining the band we have accomplished some great achievements, one included winning Our Hollow, Our Home’s ‘Road To Holloween’ to earn a spot opening their sold out annual Hallowen event ‘Holloween 3’ at The 1865 in Southampton. We have released 3 standalone singles and a 6 track EP which are available to stream on major streaming platforms.
I feel like now is the right time for me as a musician to grow and get my love for drums out there. I will be continously posting content on my Instagram account and Youtube channel, so please be sure to head over and drop me a follow or subscribe.
WHY DO YOU PLAY COLLISION?
I currently vary between the 5A and the 5A Reach drumsticks, it really does depend on the situation I’m in. If I’m playing an electronic kit then I tend to stick with the 5A’s but if I’m playing a live show on an acoustic kit, then I tend to go with the reaches for that extra comfort and power.
For me the Collision brand isn;t just about providing a quality product, it’s the community and the support that comes with it, it really is second to none and I can’t express how grateful I am for the support this company have shown me already.
If I was to recommend a fellow drummer a set of sticks, I would certainly point them in the direction of Collison, not only because of the reasons mentioned above but for the quality and durability of the sticks.
