ARTIST PROFILE
Liam Clough
Wigan, UK
band: Bad Ape
STICK SIZE: 5BR
My name is Liam Clough, I live in Wigan just outside of Manchester. I started playing drums back when I was 7 years old; I used to tap on basically anything and everything until my parents asked me if I wanted to try playing drums and I never looked back.
I started playing in bands when I was 15 and I have been lucky enough to play gigs all over the country from small pubs to Butlins to support slots with Twin Atlantic and Elliot Minor to playing the O2 Wireless Festival in London’s Hyde Park on the same day as Morrissey, Beck and The Wombats to name a few. I have extensive studio experience and have had songs played on BBC Radio 1 shows and have also been in a music video shown on Kerrang! TV.
I am currently playing for Bad Ape, a 5 piece alternative rock band from Burnley. I joined the band in March 2022 and after a successful support gig at Club Academy in Manchester we were immediately offered and recently played our own headline gig at Manchester Academy 3. We have recently been in the studio recording our soon to be released new single I Wanna Fly and are eager to get out there and play as many gigs as possible and bring our music to as many people as possible.
WHY DO YOU PLAY COLLISION?
The sticks I am currently using are the Collision 5BR.
My favourite thing about Collision is the sticks themselves, they are high quality products – well made, great feel, great length & weight and are very durable so don’t let you down.
I would definitely recommend Collision because they make great products and have a great customer service and are quick to get back to you if you need anything.
