STICK SIZE: 5b
I started playing the drums when I was 4 years old in Malaysia. I remember sitting in the living room watching The Wiggles on the TV and seeing Anthony playing the drum kit gave me the light bulb to become a drummer. When we moved to Singapore in 2010 at the age of 5, I started watching this YouTuber named Steven Chen playing the Angry Birds theme song and that gave me the ignition to start drum lessons.
At 6 years old, I started taking drum lessons. I enjoyed doing it, I hated practicing my rudiments because I would get frustrated every time my dad or mom points out my mistakes.
As time went by, I took inspiration from many drummers like Greg Garman (drummer for Selena Gomez), Chad Smith, and Youtubers like Cobus, Antoine Fadavi, and Casey Cooper (aka COOP3RDRUMM3R). And over time when I started to gain progress, I started to take inspiration from other drummers like John Bonham, The Rev, Dominic Howard, Lars Ulrich, Phil Gould, Carter Beauford, Roy Mayorga, Luke Holland, you name it.
This is my first endorsement ever and I am honored to be a part of it!
WHY DO YOU PLAY COLLISION?
I proudly play the Collision 5B Standard Drumsticks because these are perfect for when the 2B is too big for you or the 5A is too small. In addition to that, they are very versatile due to the tip.
The thing I like about Collision is that they are not common with the other drumstick brands like Vic Firth, Vater, or Promark
I would recommend Collision due to the great customer service. Carlton and the team are always caring for artists like me!
