“Mark Mayhem has been recommended for Coldplay, Feeder and The Stereophonics. His past resumé has included work with Danny McCormack from The Wildhearts and George Michael’s guitarist, Tim Cansfield, as well as recording with Nick Plytas (of David Bowie fame). Just before moving to Liverpool, he recorded a drum track for a London based producer, Genie (known for his commercial work). His playing on this received compliments from Liverpool’s very own, Sir Paul McCartney himself! In addition, whilst providing drums for a tour with The 12 Tenors, he was working closely alongside BBC conductor, composer and producer, Peter Moss, who himself has worked with the likes of Freddie Mercury. He has contacts with high level industry people such as Thomas Lang, Ian Thomas and Gail Louise. Previous management, DB, had groups such as Badly Drawn Boy and Oasis on his roster. Previous session work has included substituting Paul Weller’s drummer, Steve White, who was unable to make the session. He has also done a drum clinic with Colin Woolway, a renowned drum educator in London, which featured Mark Pussey (Ed Sheeran’s drummer). Other musical training was done under the tutelage of the esteemed Indian percussionist, Sri M. Balachandar, at the London school, The Bhavan, with whom he has also performed.”
