PHILADELPHIA, PA, USA
band: SESSION DRUMMER
STICK SIZE: 7A
After I started on drums I then picked up piano as well as bass. I started playing in church as a kid which led to me playing at countless churches from my youth into my adulthood. I started playing in studio sessions as well as gigs outside of church in my teenage years which taught me a lot more discipline, once I heard finish projects in the studio I automatically knew that it wasn’t about the drums but the music collectively which was a feeling.
Eventually I started getting calls to play for multiple bands and groups and even more churches. I currently play all types of different music from jazz to rock, gospel, hip-hop, r&b, latin, country and more because I don’t believe in limiting myself to one genre. I now produce music and do a lot more studio sessions including playing on my own projects.
I believe hard work definitely pays off, with that said I am honored to be a proud endorsed artist for Arborea Cymbals and now Collision Drumsticks. I owe that to God and my family for continuously pushing me to achieve greater. I personally believe there is a place for any and everyone trying to achieve something musically but it takes time and patience, and when its your time, its your time. I encourage everyone to go above and beyond to achieve goals to get where I am and way beyond with no one stopping you.
I generally play 7A’s but every so often I use 5A’s depending on what I’m playing.
By far my favorite thing about the Collision Brand is the fact that its not just a business its a friendship and a family which is everything to me, they definitely welcomed me with open arms and thats one thing outside of the top quality provided
I’m definitely recommending Collision Drumsticks to everyone I know that plays drums, because they are the most durable and comfortable sticks I’ve ever used in my life, and I don’t plan on that changing.
