Michael James Grassman is a Milwaukee drummer/percussionist and multi-instrumentalist.  He started playing drums at 12 and quickly joined any and all school bands he could.  In his youth, Michael has performed in musicals, marching band, drumline, concert band, Jazz band and numerous other ensemble groups for youths. 

As a professional musician, Michael has performed with multiple popular Milwaukee bands, toured  the States with local Blues Bands and performed in front of thousands at countless festivals.  Currently Michael is a session drummer for hire with live performances and studio recording.

In addition to performing, Michael is a full-time private instructor for drums, percussion, guitar and ukulele and also works for local high schools with their percussionists and drumlines.  Michael is also the owner of Sound Check Studios in West Allis, Wisconsin specializing in music education along with 6 other instructors at this location.
