As a drum set player and percussionist Paul Mores plays multiple genres of music including Jazz, Hip Hop, Afro-Caribbean, Rock, Funk, and Classical. Paul has studied with drummers Frank Marino, Joe Novello, Frank Colonato, Tommy Igoe, Joe Morello, and Dom Famularo. Paul has shared live performances with pianist and good friend Ed Schlosser of Rita Moreno’s orchestra and the bass player Calvin Hill with McCoy Tyner. He has also played for the popular Brazilian rock band “Blue Sour”, the pop punk band “That One Scene”, the metal band “Mallek”, and is currently in the Pop Punk/Hardcore band “Cult Classic” on Manic Kat Records. Paul has been a drum tech for international metal bands like System Addict, and worked as a Team Lead (production) for Metallica’s Orion Music and More Festival Tour. He has done projects with ACM Records managing planning for large-scale regional events with major corporate sponsorship from Guitar Center, School of Rock, VH1, ReverbNation, and Sonicbids. He currently works as a public-school Fine Arts Educator at Bergen County Special Services and as an AR Representative for Manic Kat Records. Paul has a BFA in Fine Arts from Ramapo College and an MBA from William Paterson University with a focus in music management, copyright, and marketing.
