ARTIST PROFILE

I started drumming at the age of 12 and had lessons for around five years, where I passed my Trinity Guildhall grade 3 and 4 with merit before gaining more practical knowledge from several other teachers.
I joined a covers band in my teens and since then have played in 3/6d band, the Lack of Commitments soul band, 2nd Attempt Band, The Born Again Beatles, The Rescue Blues, Supersonic Oasis tribute, various dep gigs and play regularly in the worship team at St. Johns community Church, Chase Terrace.
I currently play in a three piece party covers band based in the midlands, called The Brightsides, playing a fantastic mix of songs from across the decades. Alongside Matt on vocals/bass and Harry on guitar/backing vocals I’ve had the pleasure of playing some amazing gigs and Weddings and birthday parties at some great venues including The Liquorist in Essex , Swan live in Stafford, Pillaton Hall in Penkridge, The Station in Sutton Coldfield and Walsall Arboretum to name but a few. We are signed up with Heart Events Entertainment Agency who are the number 1 provider of acts to the midlands area venues.
WHY DO YOU PLAY COLLISION?
I discovered Collision Drumsticks online and really liked the look of the brand so I ordered some 5A sticks to try out.
when my sticks arrived the first thing I noticed was the quality of the wood and the smooth finish compared to other brands. When I used them for a gig I found that the weight balance and length of the sticks were perfect.
For me though the major advantage of using Collision sticks is the durability as they last a lot longer than other sticks I’d previously used and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, tough and very cool looking product.
