ARTIST PROFILE
Scott Earley
Fort Wayne, Indiana USA
band: Salem’s Childe
STICK SIZE: 5BR
I started playing drums in school band in fifth grade and continued through high school playing in concert band, jazz band and drum line in marching band. During my high school years, I found myself in my first cover band and have never stopped writing, recording and performing LIVE ever since. Over the years, I have taught lessons, recorded seven albums, opened for countless national/world renowned bands and also have two national tours under my belt.
I have been a member of Salem’s Childe for seven years now, although I have known and been great friends with the guitarist and bass player for around twenty years now. The vocalist and I have recorded and toured in the past prior to rejoining in Salem’s Childe as well. Overall, it is a great and interesting chemistry we share.
March and April of 2022 took us on our first national tour as a band as direct support of “Doyle”(Misfits), and took us coast to coast and back to coast in six weeks where we played amazing venues along the way such as The Rock House (El Paso, TX), The Nile Theater (Mesa, AZ), The Rail Club (Ft.Worth, TX), and the legendary Whisky a Go Go (West Hollywood, CA). Since the tour, we have been writing new music to follow-up our debut release, “The Sin That Saves You”, released October 9,2020, via Pavement Entertainment. We look forward to recording the new music and performing it on tour again this year.
WHY DO YOU PLAY COLLISION?
I play the 5BR exended reach model.
What I like so much about Collision Drumsticks, is the durability, construction and the amazing balance.
I would recommend and encourage people to play these sticks because they can really take a beating and do not fray or break easily and I think that is due to the construction of the sticks and how the wood grain is placed in each stick.
