Originally from Liverpool in UK, I moved to Ireland in 2006 with my family. At that stage I had already been playing drums for a number of years but it wasn’t until the move that I started to really develop as a drummer and musician. In the early stages, I played in a family band with my brother, twin sister and a family friend. I later went to college to study music, and progressed to third level where my musicianship developed further allowing me to branch out trying new genres and styles that I hadn’t tried before. This lead to landing myself gigs at the likes of Electric Picnic Music Festival with a folk trio, The Secret Village Festival with my current two-piece band Face of The Earth and even being granted the chance to play as part of a traditional group for past president of Ireland Mary MacEleese. I’ve recently become an ambassador for “Drum Head” which is an Irish up and coming drum apparel brand and they are a fantastic team to be a part of.

We released our debut EP in 2018 (which is available on spotify) and played at The Secret Village Festival the same year which was fantastic! More recently we’ve been writing new material and are hoping to get working on our second EP soon.
I joined The Cavan Big Band in 2015 and have been
WHY DO YOU PLAY COLLISION?
I have played drums for a number of years and have tried ALL the major brands you can think of. Collision sticks are so durable and versatile that they should be just as big as their competitors. I would absolutely recommend any drummer to get a pair and try them out, you won’t regret it.
