I  am a drummer with around 20 years playing experience. I’ve always enjoyed and been influenced by a wide range of musically styles and particularly enjoy playing rock, jazz and blues music. I enjoy writing, recording and performing live as a member of the band ‘Sloth Metropolis’. Often described as psychedelic Prog our music is driven by the electric fiddle wizardry of Calum Calderwood and the keys/organ stylings of Alastair Milton. A distinct solid groove is skilfully provided by Lewis MacKenzie on the bass guitar. In addition actors Randolph Edwards and Calum Maclellan bring a theatrically element to our live shows which results in a truly unique and memorably spectacle. Since forming 11 years ago we have recorded several albums including ‘Humanise’ (2020) released on Bad Elephant music and ‘The Moth Necropolis'(2022) released on Nasoni-Records. We have recently returned from a UK tour promoting our first live album ‘Live In The Necropolis'(2023) which was recorded at Summer Rock Solstice in 2022. Touring the UK alongside the wonderful ‘Tabernacle’ from San Francisco was a rewarding and very enjoyable experience. As a band we are looking forward to a busy summer of gigs and are currently writing our next album which we hope to record towards the end of the year.
