I’ve never been so impressed with how durable a set of sticks can be. I’ve broken more than my fair share of drumsticks over the years and it’s damn hard to break a pair of Collisions.
At first, I was also quite weary about the tips being wooden, as tips usually tend to break first and you lose all definition on ride cymbals…but not with these 5A’s. I have yet to break a tip.

Bringing a bit less weight and rebound than the 5BR´s, these sticks are my #1 choice when it comes to rhythmic grooves, marching or hip-hop drumming.
Their lighter weight makes them great for less energetic impacts, which I love to use in hip-hop beats, and allow a more controlled playing, when it comes to marching.

Incredible sticks. I have used Collision sticks for years. I mostly used 5B’s but recently switched to 5A’s. They are perfectly light but incredibly durable. A must buy if you are looking for long lasting sticks that are also comfortable!

These sticks are spot on, I tend to shred through the centres of sticks doing constant rim shots which for most other sticks, seems to render them weak and flexing in no time or for cheap brands, has caused them to break within literally one or two songs of enthusiastic playing. These are actually lasting me and not only not breaking, but even when I’ve taken a good third or more of the material off from my poor and overly harsh technique, they still aren’t flexing – currently recommending these to all my drumming buddies and as if that wasn’t enough, they’re beating the next best on price even on a single pair! 5 stars all…day….long
