band: Session Drummer
STICK SIZE: 5b // 5a
The first time I played drums was in 5th grade (age of 10). I was “infected” to it immediately, but unfortunately neither my mom nor my dad supported it in my early years, so there was no chance on this way.
But Ii didn’t gave up.
This hard fact made me telling myself, that I gotta find another way/opportunity to learn how to play drums.
I went to the local youth club “AmZug” where I knew they had a drumkit, and so I started teaching myself how to play drums for over ten years.
After I moved to another town at the age of 15, I wasn’t able to keep practicing in the local youth club, so I had to pause for an unknown length of time.
That changed on my 18th bday, when I moved to my dads place.
His bday present for me, and also for moving to him was a brand new 5ply drumkit incl. Cymbals & Hardware.
From this day on, I played and practiced almost every day and teached myself to read notes, play different and very difficult techniques and to do some stick tricks.
But I’m not done yet. There’s still so much to learn, and I cannot wait to face any upcoming challenge
WHY DO YOU PLAY COLLISION?
I play the 5B Reach & 5A Reach Sticks.
What I love about Collision Drumsticks as a brand, is the totally transparent communication and support.
No matter what kind of challenge is coming up;
at Collision Drumsticks, there’s always an open and supporting ear.
I can recommend Collision Drumsticks to any drummer and percussionist who’s looking out for great weighted, very durable and awesome balanced drumsticks.
I was looking for such kind of sticks for years, and checked out several brands and stick types/materials, and now I finally found my personal perfect fit in Collision Drumsticks 5AR’s & 5BR’s.
